Our fiber techs are hard at work, and recently knocked out 42 installs in one week! We now have well over 1500 southwest Michigan members experiencing the power of the rural broadband revolution from their own home or business. Chuck, one of our happy users, recently shared the following: “Words can’t really describe how fast Midwest Fiber is. I can’t say enough good things … I use the internet very hard and need reliable speed. It is not uncommon for us to have Netflix running on two TVs, playing online games on a minimum of two computers, and surfing the internet on a tablet all at the same time. Midwest Fiber delivers!”

Chuck is not alone in offering a glowing review, and we know many of you are still waiting to experience that yourselves. While you wait, here is our April construction update:

All construction is complete and members are being scheduled and/or hooked up daily in Calvin, Northwest Cassopolis, North Three Rivers, Schoolcraft (except Woodbrook Subdivision) and West-South Dowagiac. If you’re a new user in one of these zones, welcome to the rural broadband revolution!

East Vicksburg – North Mendon:  April showers may bring May flowers, but will also bring May home installs for folks in this zone. Scheduling calls will begin soon!

Keeler:  Construction and splicing are on track as scheduled for second quarter, and we fully expect to begin lighting up the area in the third quarter.

Mottville: Construction and splicing are on track as scheduled for second quarter, and we fully expect to begin lighting up the area in the third quarter.

Northeast Cassopolis: Walkout work continues this month, and we expect to begin construction in June. Fourth quarter is still looking good to begin home installs.

Southwest Edwardsburg & East Niles:  All systems go as we finish up construction, drops and splicing in coming weeks. First home installs will be underway this month!

West Cassopolis – North Edwardsburg: Ontwa Sub home installs continue, and we’ll begin lighting up folks on the Dailey Sub this month.
